Have you seen a miracle?
What is a miracle?
God makes the rules of the universe, so He can bend them too.
Share about a miracle you have witnessed, if any.
A miracle can be something you have observed, but can’t explain. Have you observed something like that? Explain.
“Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced,”

Last week we discussed science.
Did everyone get a chance to say, “Praise Jesus” in a science class? Or see something that inspired you?
Oops! You guys were on spring break.
hehe…
What questions do you have about the universe?
Are you frustrated by not knowing the answers to those questions?
“Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.”
-Hebrews 4:13 (NIV)

What is science?
Do you wonder how things work?
Have you been amazed with nature and the vastness of the universe?
Why do some people think science is bad?
Do some people use science to try to discredit God’s existence or truth?
Do some people use the Christian faith to try to discredit the claims made by science?
Does God want us to be curious about our environment?
Science is not supposed to explain spiritual matters, and the Bible is not supposed to be a scientific explanation of all things. What is really the cause of controversy between the two?

What is perspective?
What have you changed your views about recently?
What were your beliefs five years ago?
Have you ever been in an argument with someone and later discovered that it was all a misunderstanding?
What are the beliefs of the oldest people you know that differ from yours?
Why might their beliefs be different? What could change over time?
“For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; [6] and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; [7] and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. [8] For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. [9] But if anyone does not have them, he is nearsighted and blind, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins.”
-2 Peter 1:5-9 (NIV)
God’s perspective is complete. He sees all things.
What do you know that you can’t see?
How could that hinder your decision making process?
“for he views the ends of the earth and sees everything under the heavens.”
-Job 28:24 (NIV)
Think about allowing God to direct your decisions small and large, because He knows the future, and understands the universe, because He set it in motion.
